Applicants should be ambitious and able to take ownership of a TVDATA.TV and sister web sites and web video channels and make it the ultimate destination for targeted audience. That will require the ability to keep the TVDATA web sites relevant, fresh and enticing. You will be a highly experienced online journalist knowing the principles of writing for the web. An understanding of written and spoken Russian would be an advantage but is not essential. About you You will have a minimum of six years experience as a journalist and editor, with experience of writing and editing for the Web. You'll be hungry to land exclusive stories and know how to maximize an audience with strong headlines, a compelling story hook, good use of SEO techniques, and an eye on what works in social media to create buzz. You will have experience of content management systems, WORDPRESS required and a solid understanding of audience driven analytics. You will have proven proofreading and sub-editing skills and an ability to write copy that is clear, concise and hard-hitting You will be able to identify the most important stories in your sector - and commission and/or write copy to ensure we break the biggest stories first.
