An industrial accident and four hour rescue operation leading to a survival of a worker who was trapped under the sand deep underground.
A worker was reloading industrial goods while staying on a sand hill, suddenly the ground was sliding away and a man was buried under an enormous amount of sand. The man started disappearing down under the ground. He was lucky enough to catch a hat and cover his face to be able to breathe underneath. Helpless victim was struggling to survive and it worsened the situation. The sand was constantly sliding trapping the man deeper and deeper underground Finally there were only some fingers seen above the ground.
About 30 people from Special Rescuer Forces were involved in the rescue. Emergency workers had enforced a complex rescue plan to safe him. They tied his only hand by the rope to prevent him being swallowed deeper. After 4 hours they lifted the victim out. Seriously injured and suffering from hypothermia, the poor man was taken to the nearest hospital.
